Posting Guide

This guide will walk you through the process of posting new content onto the website!

The method used is different to what you may have used previously.


1. Log in

To login, scroll right to the bottom of any page(even this one!) and click on the “Staff login” button, as shown in the image below.




2. Details

Enter your login details and once logged in you will now see the toolbar at the top of every page, it looks like this:



3. New post

To create a new news item or post, hover your mouse over the “New” button and click on the “Post” button that then appears.



4. Post

Now you can fill in the title of your post (usually the date or subject of the post) and fill out the content however you like.

The most important thing that you need to remember is to select the correct category from the right-hand side of the page. This will ensure that your post appears on the correct section of the website!



5. Publish

Finally, once you are happy with the content you can click “Preview” to see what the post will look like before it is published or jump straight in and click publish, just like I’m about to do now!



6. Ta-da

That’s it your post is now live and available to be viewed on the relevant page.
