We are a values-led school which enables our children to embrace challenges and opportunities in life, so that they can achieve their very best. Average class sizes of 26 allow us to create a nurturing environment for the children and a personalised learning approach for all.

Our children have an active voice in how we run our school through our School Council, who organise projects with the school councils in our strategic alliance partnership, The Kyra East Hub.

We are proud of our children, who work hard and achieve well at school. In 2017, our Year 6 children achieved well in the tests against the new curriculum, with 80% meeting expectations in the Reading and Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar Tests and 90% in the Maths tests. Our school combined reading, writing and maths tests results are 80% compared to the National average of 61%.

We provide funded places for children from 3 years of age, up to their 30 hours entitlement. We currently have 18 Little Acorns enjoying this provision, which will enormously help with their transition into Reception in September 2018. In addition, we provide a daily Breakfast Club from 8.00am and our 5.30 Club, which provides after school care every evening.

We are holding an Open Morning on Wednesday 15th November, from 10.00am to 12.00pm. We warmly invite you visit us then. If you are unable to make this time, then please call the office for an appointment to visit the school to meet the children and the teaching team and for a guided tour with the School Council.

We look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful school!
